The WinXP(SP2) Stack will cause that, if it is not removed prior to Stack install. Must remove all Bluetooth through Device Manager to uninstall the MS Stack.

D600's are also noted for TM300 connection problems due to method of install to the MB.

^^ try by dell direct support site? you should be able to drill down to your model and under networking drivers, you'll see the TrueMobile 300 Bluetooth intenral card driver

cheers ...

Also, I'm fairly certain you will need the Dell quickset utility so you can set behavior of the Fn+F2 key. It will be on the same download site at support.dell.com

Hi, im not sure if you have resolved this problem yet, but it is worth checking your bios setting for bluetooth device, i have the same laptop & had to tweak some settings in the bios for bluetooth, then xp simply did the rest without any drivers from dell web site. it might work for you i dont know but its worth a try.
good luck.
Street.
