I bought an adapter from thsi guy for upadtaing to a 7800 card in an i9300:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6828865593

He refuses to answer emails, has pocketed my paypal payment and sends shipemnts via USPS priority that somehow disappar even though the USPS track and confirm web sote says it was delivered.

The guy is a d**k. Please make me feel better by not purchasing any stuff from him.

Im buyign an XPS2/M170 adapter direct from Dell isntead

Suprised considering the amount of feedback, though the negative rep that they have got is for reasons along the lines of yours...

Aye. What annoys me is that I catergorically said to him please can you ensure it gets to me by the 16th as I have to fly back to the UK. He never replies to me, then its a one word reply giving a trackign number, then the USPS site says its been delivered at 12 pm on Monday yet here I am wednesday and I still ahevnt got it.

What annoys me is he wont bother to asnwer the 6 emails I snet him after hes pocketed mu money. He only sneds a shitty response when I complain on his feed back. Lamer.

I guess the horror stories I hear about USPS are true then. Im defintely not buyign anything from Ebay thats shipped USPS

Claim back Paypal? That would make him react (but then thats his problem, not yours)...
You just need to file an item not received complaint through eBay and you'll get your money back unless he can prove it was delivered to your address.

Bugger, what do USPS have to say about it? They sound worse than Royal Mail...

Well, he can sort of prove it was recieved because the USPS website for track and confirm says it was dleivered for the tracking number he gave. USPS say they delivered it but I aint got it. I guess Ill try Paypal just in case, got nothing to lose.

Im more infuriated by teh lack of communicaiton by teh guy. He just pocketed my cash and doesnt botehr to reply

FWIW, I bought two of the 130W adapters from an eBay seller named "hoctcomputer" and both work well, as far as I can tell. My 9300 is recognizing both as 130W adapters, they are real Dell adapters, revision A04.

Ah yes, I know this guy Rubberduck is talking about, for it is he who sold me my "new" PA-13. It wasn't new and didn't work (the "can't tell if this is a 130W adapter") message. By a stroke of luck I was able to get it working by cleaning out the inside of the tip really well. It works about 90 % of the time. I still get the message every couple of days. I echo the sentiment -- avoid this guy.

I said bugger it, and bought a brand new one from Dell. Its 60 bucks but hey, at least its genuine and I know Ill get it in time. Also, I quite like the new adapter model that came with my i9300. You know, the one where its been designed well so you can coil teh cable aorund the adpater and it fits snugly together? Im hoping a new one form Dell will be like this. All teh ones on ebay seem to be teh old bulky brick ones

the ones from dell are exactly the same design.

RubberDuck, I would double check the address on the tracking of that shipment. If it didn't show up but USPS says it did, that sounds more life a USPS problem. As far as flagging the guy, there are literally thousands and thousands of ebay sellers, just like him, and it's not worth the time or frustration to try and retrieve 35 bucks. I'm chalking this one up to experience, because I had this little nagging voice inside that told me I shouldn't buy from a guy who had 28 negative feedbacks in the last 30 days just to save 10 bucks. Next time the nagging voice is going to get more credence.
