M55-S329 Touchpad problem. Can't get rid of "back" or "forward" at top of touchpad

Anyone else experience this problem?

I went into 'Advanced Feature Settings' and turned 'off' all four corner touchpad controls.

However, I'm often moving my cursor on a webpage and it automatically causes the page to go "back" or "forward"

I notice the green and white arrows at approixmately 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock on the touchpad settings. Is that what I'm hitting? Is there a way to turn this feature off?

I only want my touch pad to move the pointer -- I'd like to use the buttons to 'select' or 'click' -- not an accidental touching of a sensitive spot on the touchpad.

Does that make sense?

I think I just figured out a possible solution.

I went into the Touch Pad Settings and made the Browser Support Area as small as possible by sliding the guides. Is this the only solution? Thanks.

I have the S325, and just tested it at. It'll only do that if you tap, hold your finger down and then slide your finger left (to go back) or right (to go forward).

Plus it's only the top part of the touchpad too. Best thing to do is to disable a toshiba software that is connected to the touchpad features, like the transparent screen that comes up if you touch the corners.
