My first post; I just wanted to say thank you! Seriously, I've wanted a Dell XPS for a while and these forums made it possible!(I assume I'll start getting flamed by all the Dell haters )

I have a $3500 laptop and only paid $1750.

I have a:
Dell inspiron 9300
2Ghz Pentium 760
2GB DDR2 533Mhz ram
256MB GeForce 7800GTX
17 inch WUXGA+ truelife
9 cell battery
2 x 130 watt power adapters

Welcome rising

No Dell haters here, but Dell "questioners". I love my Gen 1 XPS, and as long as you love your laptop, that's all that matters. Enjoy!

Where'd you get it? Ebay? That's a great deal, at that price.

First off, what does NBF mean.

Everything is brand new from Dell/newegg/ebay w/ 2 year warranty. If you are interested in one for yourself read the Dell -> 9300/xps forums. I paid $1300 for an I9300 after $950 (one coupon was $100 w/ 1 time use) in coupons. $243 + tax + ship for 7800GTX. $78 for 2 x 130W power adapters via ebay. $150 for 2GB ddr2 ram on newegg.com. I don't really NEED the laptop or have the money, but it was too good of a deal to pass up. The only warranty voiding thing you have to do is load a modified bios, which is totally reversable if you need to return it under warranty.
