Area 51-M Overheat

I've had my area 51-m for over a year now. It has a ati radeon 7500 mobility and it has been overheating lately after about an hour or so of game play, atleast I think it's overheating. After like an hour or so out of no where it will become extremely choppy, no blue screen though. I was wondering if anybody else out there has had a similar problem or if anybody knows what i can do instead of sending it in to alienware. Also I've heard people talk about monitoring my temp. can i do that? If so how?

You sound like an excellent candidate to try clearing your fans of dust buildup. Try using some air-in-a-can to blow the dust out. This has been mentioned many times in the AW forums.
