Seeking the Sound of Silence

It is time for a new notebook. Even after undervolting, my current laptop has an annoyingly loud processor fan.
So I am looking for the quietest laptop. Unfortunately all retail stores in my area have exceedingly loud showrooms, so I can't tell which are quiet at full load.
That is where you come in... If your laptop is quiet when running at 100%, let me know. If you have a decibel level that would be even better.

well if you want quiet then just make sure to get a pentium m laptop with integrated graphics

I understand that the Apple Powerbook is fanless. I've heard good things about some of the Asus models as well.

My Toshiba isn't a prolematic unit in terms of this.

the sony fs series are pretty silent. great lcd's too. performance is on the shitty side though, and they are expensive.
