Hey everyone!
Okay this problem of mine started in November.

I remember downloading an update for windows sp2 and it asked me to restart my computer. Upon restarting my computer the loading time was REALLY slow (I'm talking 10+ minutes just to load the desktop) but after loading everything seemed to run fine. Then I noticed that I couldn't access anything on my secondary harddrive (i.e. itunes and my games) so I decided to system restore. This is when it gets interesting...

After system restoring everything went downhill. I would turn on my computer and it would get past the BIOS but the windows loading screen wouldn't even show up! So what I tried to do was reinstall windows and that didn't work because it after showing the "press any key to boot from cd" the screen would just hang on me. Now I was starting to get worried... Since my warranty was finished anyways I tried switching the two hard drives and seeing if that would work and I get a different kind of error. Then for some reason I get to the windows reinstallation screen through network boot, but when it says select hard drive to install OS, no hard drives show up, and if I try to press a button I get the BSOD.

My friend says it's a boot sector error or something along that line. I tried calling powernotebooks support and they were pretty much useless. I'm clueless on what to do. I'm going to guess it's my hard drive so I went ahead and bought a new HDD. Would this hard drive work in my 8790?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822149030

If anyone has had this problem, or knows how to fix it please post!
