No warranty when selling parts on eBay?

If someone buys like a used Go 6800 Ultra from you off eBay then they dont have any kind of warranty through Dell do they? Whats going to happen if the card dies in a month or something? To me it seems like most likely they're going to try and recoup their fees through you by doing a chargeback on their credit card or filing a complaint through PayPal. Anyone ever had any problems with selling used parts like video cards and RAM on eBay?

No, the warranty doesn't transfer over on parts... only if you were to transfer the entire system to someone else and submit a transfer request for the entire system.

As long as the person selling the part on eBay doesn't commit fraud by saying something in the ad about including a warranty from Dell, then the part is being purchased 'As Is' with no warranty. If they reneg later on, its a form of fraud (mail fraud if you used USPS which = felony) and/or theft as they have no right to rescend payment if they received what they agreed to pay for.
