Difference between Dell Home and Dell Small Business?

Is there any benifit to ordering a laptop from Dell SB rather than the Home section? (apart from the minor price differences, in my case 5 UK Pounds)

Is the support any better?

I'm assuming that a home user can order a single system from SB?

I have systems from both Home and Small Business. Living in the US, I had to pay for taxes on the purchase when I bought through Small Business recently (I haven't bought through Home in a year or two). Also, since I bought a Precision M60, I had to go through SB since it wasn't offered in the home systems. The only other thing I can say is that by buying through SB, I get premiere support which means that my support calls do not get routed to India. Instead, I get a living/breathing American on the other end when I need help.

Do you need to provide any specific, pertinant information to order as Small Business?

Yes they will ask for your company name! Just make one up if you don't have one. They don't car. And in Most states you have to pay tax on a SB purchase, not all though.

And Yes, it did add tax. I was having it shipped to my wifes work since there was no tax there and tax at my home. So now there's tax at both, so I can have it shipped to my home. My final price with the changes was $10 more (after subtracting the $250 home MIR), but that adds on-site warranty and I don't have to wait for the $250 Mail in Rebate.
