Radeon 9600 vs. NVidia 5600?

Hey whats up, I just learned today that my Christmas present is currently being made and it will be here in the next few weeks. Needless to say I was pleasanty suprised.

I have one question though, in my laptop I am getting the Radeon 9600. How does this card compare to the NVidia 5600? Thanks for any info that you guys have.

BTW i am new to this forum and so far it looks like there is a ton of useful info on it. Looks like i found a new forum to look over

I used to be the biggest Nvida fan in the world, but when I got my first Nvida 128MB card I was disappointed. Soon I bought my first ATI 128MB card, and I loved it, and I have never gone back since. The only thing that you should do with EATHER card is get the OMEGA drivers. www.omegaheaven.com

Yes indeed get the Omega driver. Read my review about the standard ATI drivers that come with the laptop.

alright thanks for the info, i also have an NVidia on my computer. I was pretty pleased with it but there were a few things that I didnt like. All i have ever heard was praise for the latest Radeon cards though.
