Has anyone tried it yet? I am still at work. I hope it fixes some of the random reboot problems in certain zones of certain games, hey, it's a possibility.

I'm almost done working on them, then, off to Beta Testing. I guarantee a release before Christmas (depending on how fast they make it through the Beta Testing gauntlet, maybe as soon as Friday!).

Can someone give me a nutshell explanation of the advantages of the XTreem-G versions? I know there ARE advantages, but I'm curious about the details.

"THEY ROCK" is not what I'm looking for. :-)

Thanks!

Doesn't look like there is major game performance increases like the last releases aimed at COD2 & Quake4....i'll stick with the 81.95's for now untill further feedback is published =)

Basically, the XTreme-G version is a tweaked version of the "regular" ForceWare driver for better Image Quality, at little-to-no cost in performance (emphasis on LITTLE). There are also tweaks for games like BF2, and CS: Source to reduce or eliminate stuttering . Also, no need to muck around replacing INF's and the such, just install! Oh yeah, and they're compressed more for a smaller download .

Thanx odious. I read on the nvidia site that it says to disable anti virus programs b4 installing new drivers. I have AVAST anti-virus anyone know how to temporrarily disable it until i have the new drivers installed and then reenable it. THANX!!

Battlefront 2 is a terrible game, it's beyond me why that game is the highest grossing Star Wars game to date, the first one was so bad I gave my cd key away for free online to some friend of a online friend. Anyone who bought the second one, is just crazy. I mean yeah you may like the star war's Universe but there are other star war games that are still better then this pile of junk. Anyone who talks crap about Battlefield 2, I'd like to see what they have to say about battlefront 2 Star Wars.

You need to also download the modded inf file and replace the inf that comes with the Nvidia installation.

geforcetony, is it me or your new nvidia driver is buggy? i get 2 errors installing it, and the nvidia tool bar is gone.
