Fatal Error (Blue Screen)

Hi, when i got in the office this morning, I have this blue screen message on my Sentia (12"):

Stop: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows Logon Process Terminated Unexpectedly with a Status of 0x00000402 (0x00000000 0x00000000) The system has been shut down.

I tried restarting, same thing....booted once, but suddenly, blue screen again.

OUr IT guy checked/tested the clock battery, it is drained and has a little leak. He cleaned the connectors and replaced with a new battery.

the error is still appearing and it won't boot at all.

Any ideas?

Hey tikboy,

Can i possibly have your computer specs, and what you were doing on your lappy before this occured?

I've taken a look around, and found various scenario's but would like to boil it down a bit to one or two things.

Thanks.

Ok, with our IT guy's help, it seems to show some life now.

I was just doing a regular routine work - emails, internet & other office jobs when it first happened.

We did:
1. System, restore (2 days back)
2. Safe mode, disk check & defrag.

Today, I got another blue screen error this morning when I sart it up, so I tried Safe Mode again and just restarted. It will run normally for a few minutres then, BLUE SCREEN ERROR AGAIN!

It's so unpredictable!

SPECS:
Senti 12"
Celeron M
1.3 GHz | 512 Mb RAM
40 G HD (paritioned to 2)
Win XP Pro (replaced the original WinXP Home)

Hey tik,

from researching, mostly what I can find is that it's some sort of thermal problem.

I am going to give you 3 links you can check out and see which one suits you best (I'd rather not just give ideas without having you think what might sound best).

So here ya go.
