Question for 5720-V owners

Hi everyone,

I just ordered one of these from pctorque, I think I'm going to be happy with it. I've read through every single review and there's one thing I haven't seen mentioned or explained anywhere, so I'd like to ask you:
Are the "DJ" buttons usable when the computer is running normally? In other words, do the volume buttons work in Windows? I always found it completely inexcusable that some laptops fail to enable these buttons within Windows.
I'm hoping this one does support them. After all, who really uses a laptop as a dedicated CD player these days, even occasionally?

One additional question: What are the 3 buttons near the top of the laptop? I assume one of them is the power button. What are the other two? none of the pictures I've seen have enough resolution to show it clearly.

Yes you can adjust the volume when the computer is running. The buttons are for email, internet, media player and power.

One of the things I love the most about the DJ is that I can control the volume from the front. Because I don't hover over my laptop (I sit in either a recliner or an overstuffed chair with a keyboard on my lap), I find it easier to control the volume as required. Definitely awesome.

This was something that the 8790/9880s did not allow and I hated.
