Fujitsu N6210 purchased from Fujitsu Outlet

I ordered this laptop on 12/15/05 and received it on 12/22/05. I paid for an extra two years warranty. It came very well packed and is was easy to setup. However I coul not page up/down any open screen. I looked at the computer date and it showed 01/22/05. I tried to modify it but it was not possible because everytime I entered a field the laptop would roll back to spaces. After 3 calls to support and two recovery tests, it did not work. I was told to ship it for repair, pay the transport and wait two weeks.
I called my American Express card and told them that I wanted to return the machine rather then having it repaired. No problem, and so I have already an R.A for returning and being refunded. Too bad, the screen was real nice. Any advice on another better quality pc? Toshiba or Sony perhaps? Thank You for your input

Yeah, I think you've made a good choice. I've known people where once they buy a laptop, they get a problem, ship it back, and it just keeps going back and forth untill it's fixed and they're using it a few months later, or they get fed up and buy a new one.

You made a good choice. Dude, get a Dell!

relialbe in iraq

i got my fujitsu 6210 407 back in july its been a great experience owning such a outstanding laptop i seen toshiba and hp fall victim to sand and malfunctions do to heat and sand storms. because there only 2 openings on it 1 for intake and the other for exhaust witch helps it stays clean on the in side. the screen is also brighter that the others. my tentmates always ask to watch movies on my laptop because of the picture quality. i add 2 gigs of ram to help speed things up and notice there was a second slot for another hard drive so i ordered a 120 gig and slap that in and now i have 200 gigs of space for music and some movies

thank fujitsu and frys the salesman was right about the fujitsu quality of ventalation helps in the desert

You are Wrong!

It's the second Fujitsu N6010 that I purchase and came with a bad motherboard. The first laptop was a N6210 and arrived DOA (dead on Arrival). It gave me no confidence on the company at all. If you browse the forum you'll realize that FS, in Europe is near a class action suit for selling laptops, M3448, M4438 that come with a bug that they are working on it since November 29, 2005. As for myself, I put aside any laptop from that company. May well say before I finish that their screens look good, ONLY WHEN YOU ARE PLACED IN FRONT OF THEM. If you move a few inches to the side, everything changes color and brightness.

Don't buy from Outlet of all the systems I have tested I regard Fujitsu as one of my favs and Sony lol sure pay for the name. If I am going to pay that much for a system I will buy a Thinkpad not a Sony, they are horrible. (I have owned a 6-9 Sony Models and they have all been nothing but problems and there sevice department has always sucked).

If your wanting something else I would recommend a Dell 9300, D810

On other brands lets see, I respect and am very sorry you have had problems with Fujistu I really like them and there laptops.

Acer does make nice systems and if money is no object and you def want the best product quality I say go with a Frag Book by Falcon. You will be 110% happy with it.

Sager also is a good brand.

I talked to the sales department and wish to thank manager Troy for directing me to the headquarters in California where they were very attentive to my problem and issued me a refund immediatly. I am now ordering a new Fujitsu N6410 and I hope this laptop will stand to the Fujitsu reputation.

Customer Support

I purchased a N6010 last year, had a fried HDC and a noisy fan. Got through to a CSR in less then 2 minutes. Overnighted to the repair center, fixed in 1 day and overnighted back. Sent Monday, received Thursday. Excellent service. Might get an N6410 for work, especially at those prices. Would be nice if they supported the T2500 proc.
