I regret to inform you that I am writing this using my old Dieing 15in Gateway Monitor! Yes The 19 viewsonic passed away last night around 12:30 while with his friend Freak powning n00bs on COD! I would like to have a moment of silence for it! .................................................................................. .................................................................................. ............................................. It would want us to remember the good times we had!
The Story
Well I was playing Call of Duty online last night settling in for an awesome night of playing! I was on a server and I was just screwing around! There was a real a$$ on and I kept making fun of him and he back! But it was all in good fun! Then it happened.............................. My monitor died!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
So I try a few things but nothing works... I then decide to call Viewsonic and I get through with a very short wait and of course there system fails right when the nice lady was helping me out so she tells me to call back tomorrow!
I call Back this morning and she has me do a few test to revive my fallen comrade! Nothing works.... Then she says a few things I could do to fix it. So I get off and try them... (I will say this is one of nicest tech person I have ever talked to... as good as AWs) While IM trying the test the phone rings and I pick it up and it was the tech girl again and she tells me one last thing she thought of but no use! (I thought this was great she actually called me back that’s like so helpful, even though I had this problem I will still stay with Viewsonic again because there support was so good) So she then proceeds to tell me how I can send it in for repairs with no charge but my shipping there... She also tells me I could try to take it back to the store I got it because it might take up to 15 days to get it back! So I again thank her for all of her help! I am going to wait until my mom gets home before I make my decision on what to do! I will keep you posted!
