Not too sure if it is really true but i just want to check. Those who got the V2000 series with the 14" Widescreen notebook, can you check if the flip closes down tightly. Comparing the right side and the left side of the notebook. Also, check if the touchpad buttons are loose. Just compare the left button and the right button. Hope to get some replies so i know if it's the same for all the V2000 series or just mine

scan,
I am wondering if the 2402 series is similar to your 2408 series? how did you add in bluetooth and dl dvd??? did you do it after the fact or buy it that way? also would you know if the turions would fit in the 2402s?

Well, i got the notebook with all the stuff build in. Did not add anything cos the price was packaged with the BUletooth & DVD Burner. The funny thing about this notebook specs is that it's not listed on HP website and searching for the model only gives you the links for manual & drivers. I figured this is more of a project model where it's model number are for those who buys the notebook in bulk and resell it.

I assume yours is running on AMD Sempron. Based on my knowledge, i don't think your motherboard supports the Turion64. I guess somebody who knows better can reply to your question. This is also my 1st laptop so pretty fresh with this sort of thing. Still trying to figure out how to open the notebook

Hey, about the defect, does yours have it?
