i GOT THE 1036 doa but the only thing I can find wrong with this laptop is the ram slots the metal is way to esay to bend and also the PCMIA card the botton gets pushed out to esaly so then it stickes out and the express card the spring is very cheap I pushed it in and it got stuck inside and i got it out but it does the same thing now but this one is just a mess did not work at all the only thing that worked was the optical drive for 2 times and the battery died aa hopfully I;ll get my new one and every thing will be good

One of the problems with buying barebones is that you're never sure of what you'll get. Hopefully you'll get a new one back that works next time.
