i9kfangui not reporting gpu temp after bios flash

I flashed my system bios to the XPS one in the sticky and now i9kfangui won't detect the gpu temp. This was with both my 6800 and my new (thank you forums) 7800. Neither will detect the gpu temp. I already tried reinstalling the program, it just doesn't seem to work.

Also, can we use a more recent version of the XPS bios on the 9300's? I am not sure, but everything worked until I flashed it.

I had the same problem with the program not reading my GPU temps after the XPS2 BIOS flash. The solution is to just renable the GPU temp monitoring in one of the program settings. You don't have to uninstall or reinstall anything.

Once you flash your 9300 with the XPS2 BIOS, you can download the newest A05 BIOS directly from Dell.com and flash your laptop with no hacks needed.

yeah, that seemed to fix it. I wonder how it got unchecked in the first place. Oh well. Looks like I need to buy one of those torx bits for my gpu. Even at stock speeds, it got to 89C while gaming

when i flashed main system biosit prompted me to do just that im using the 2.2.2 version. it is a safety protocal built into the program so it does not misread sensor or cause lockups... ( im assuming b/c of possibilities if laptop harddrve was transfered to a new machine ) dunno im just a flasher not a software developer.
