Haven't bought it but am considering a gen2 notebook for $2395 from my university bookstore. 2.26, 80gb 5400, 7800 gtx, 1 gig RAM, truelife, dvd-rw, 3 year warranty w/ complete care, and 2915 w/ bluetooth. Is this a deal too good to pass up. I already have a 9300 that i got for $1300, 1.6, 2gb, rw, 60gb 5400, 6800go.

if it were me, i would upgrade your 9300 with a pin mod and a 7800gtx, it will be way less$$

I think you are better off with your current system. If you want to upgrade, I'll suggest pinmod & if you are comfortable enough with pinmod, you can modd your 1.6 to 2 something (if your 1.6 has 400MHz fsb) or you can just buy a faster processor & sell your old one.
