After Reformating '_'

Hey all i just got done reformating every things good only one problem my internet has slowed down ALOT i was wondering if theres somthing i need to install, because before i refomated and installed xp internet was alot alot faster than it is now

i also do not have the option to hibernate any reason?

maybe u didnt install xp right did u install SP2 might also be a prob just wondering

Not sure the cd says Windows Xp Media edition 2005, but...When it was installing it was saying Windows XP Pro idn internet seems fine now

Enable hibernation in the Power Options.

Just did but for some reason when i go to shutdown i have the following options
1. stand by
2. turn off
3. restart
if i enabled shouldnt it be there?

Press the Shift key on that screen and 'Standby' should change to 'Hibernate'.

The task manager (Cntrl alt dlt) also has hibernate amoung its options in its 'shutdown' menu.

Or download hibernate.exe from this page and put a shortcut to it on your desktop.
