I have found the answer goto the control panel and printers and other hardware then mouse and then hardware then goto properties and then advance settings and in the box select look for wheel and then press ok. this solved my problem
Thanx.. I ended up figuring it out. For some stupid reason. Toshiba had the touchpad installed as a PS2 mouse (there was no advanced option). I ended up just d/ling the driver for the Alps touchpad and installing that.. Presto .. problem solved.. Now if I'd only knew why TOSHIBA would not have done that themselves.. I mean why take away such a good thing? heh..
