hello all! new to the forum. today, i just recieved an e-mail telling me that my notebook just got to phase 8 even though the online status has been on phase 8 for about four days. ordered dec 18th.

Welcome to the forums! Congrats on the laptop purchase.

Still waiting

I ordered mine on the 16th of dec. but used alienwares credit process which at the time I didn't know would delay the process. So after all this they processed the order on the 22 of dec. It has sat in phase 3 since. This really sux...... Anyone have an idea how much longer I am looking at based on htere experience>?

That was Drew who recieved the free backpack. He bitched about the lateness of his notebook and the false advertizing of the dual channel memory. He got the backpack, along with $150 amazon gift certificate.

It's up to my uncle on that part now, my uncle doesn't want to confuse the place that two different people are calling upon the order status lol...but I do hope he at least check with them sometime, which i doubt...but if i see the progress slow, i'll bug em to make sure it gets bumped along in the process...

Erm how do you know who your sale's rep is? and what do you mean KUDO's ...and again the email info is all under my ucle's account...lol... i'm happy you got your sentia! Can't wait to get mine

Dood,, i know how you feel about the wait...but be glad you didn't wait over a month just for the credit papers to get to you, send back and get processed

Follow the guys' advice on here, they went through it heh

Still sitting at phase 9, however, on the plus side, I'm going to call tomorrow and see about some free stuff since they originally told me my machine would arrive on the 2nd or 3rd of this month. Happy new year all.
