also I didnt know a whole lot about AW and there computers till I found this fourm and Im sure happy that I did. These guys do a great job helping each other out. Its like a family....sort of

Yea.. the pictures of the lappy at Alienware are ugly. Why don't they use pictures that actually encourage people to buy their notebooks?

Long time no see

Yes....after passing a whole month, I am in Phase 3...weird complicatons, maybe total B.S. They claimed that they didn't get a copy of my Uncle's ID, which he said he sent it, and he sent it to a rep he talked to, they told my Uncle the rep he sent it to was "on vacation" and "couldn't access his papers"...yep ...

He asked a rep if he could just scan and email his copy of his ID and said it was fine..and later got 3 emails from 3 different reps asking for a copy of his ID, and so he emailed a copy of it to all 3 just for the heck of it...that's what I call BIG time miscommunication...so yah...finally....I hope the Phases go a bit faster from here on...

a tracking number is a number you get from fed ex or ups and it allows you to track a package you are getting(Your notebook) or a package you sent to someone else.
Hope this clears it up for you

phase 1 and 2 took me about a day. Im on my 10th day for phase eight.

I called Alienware about varifiying my order my matching keyboard and mice, and thought i might as well check up on my notebook. They said that they have been so busy lately that they know they haven;t really updated the sites. They also keep saying big improvement by monday afternoon.

I placed my order on Dec. 23. As of Dec. 30 I skipped to Phase 3.
