Hi everybody, question: do you know how to change or replace the cpu, my plan is to buy for example 770 model or 780, but i do not know which part should be removed, I mean the whole heat pipe stuff, for me looks like gpu and cpu are connected, I tried to find a manual service or something like that, nothing found, that is way I asking. Many thanks.

Socjalizacja,

are you already going to replace your processor, on a basicaly new system. Is this wise to do this?

Besides, do we not want to resolve the freezing problem first?

Greetz,

.....yeee I know how to do this, it is easy, very!!! I put some Arctic Silver, works great, temps droped 3 - 4 degree, but pay attention, do not remove that something like soft cold plate on the GC GF6800, after you do, there is problem with the heat, I've noticed there is no contact between cooler and GC, well I think we need 2 mm cooper real cold plate, ok guys let's do it!
