Hello guys, its my first post here and have only recently found this forum while browsing for references to a new ultraportable laptop.
I am a full time college student and find that my laptop is a little too big for my liking. I purchased this laptop approximately 2 years ago new from Gateway.
Here are the specs:
Gateway 400vtx
2.20 GHz Intel Celeron processor
256 mb of ram
15 inch screen
weighs 6.4 lbs
24x CDRW/DVD combo drive
Im not exactly sure how long the battery lasts because I almost always have it connected to the power cord, but on the rare occasion that i take it off it seems to last me a good amount of time.
The screen is in perfect condition, as well as the keyboard. There is a crack that I have the slightest idea where it came from that is about an inch long on the plastic below the keyboard not affecting anything.
I have had no problems with anything in the time that I have had the computer, but like I said I need something with a smaller screen and just small overall. I would be extremely interested in a trade for something like a Dell 700M plus some cash.
If anyone is interested I can definitely get pictures and anything else you would need. I also am 100% positive I still have the box as well as everything that came with the laptop as far as paperwork so I could just ship it in that.
Asking price is 550 + shipping. OBO.
