Mike you should sent to Smooth to get painted. Call AW as Ewolff did to see if they will still honor the warranty.

Pictures just really don't do the paint justice. It is always changing depending on how you look at it. I want a car painted like this so police will have a hard time fnding me.

DB - awesome system. Smooth creations has out did themselves again. Very nice and it adds a unique style to the system. I can't let my son see that system. I can just imagine him telling other 5 year olds, my lappie is pimped out more than yours.

Glad to see it arrived. You have an awesome system there!

I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't want to say anything.

I was wondering, does the paint on these machines wear where the palm rests are? Every clevo i've seen has that problem with the standard paint.

Its an Auto finish

Unless you have grease on your palms, or worse, it will get smudged. But you take some simonize (or some crisco if your DB) or any kind auto polish and it shines up like crazy.

OR if you want to really save yourself the smudging just get an additional keyboard. I only use the keys when Im on the road, at home I hook up.

I'm thinking the several layers of clear coat on it will probably keep wear from showing for quite a while. Buy yeah, I'm a hard guy to please, and the messed up spacing in "DarthBeavis" would piss me off to no end.

The spacing is not great but I can live with it. I will mention it as they are doing my ALX now.

Actually, the font is my fault (I sent them the font, that is how it prints. Get the font from my post in the AW forum and try it yourself using Word:
