Oakley Judge.

And I plan a full review once I get some of the performance issues straightened out and get a couple customer service issues with Hyper cleared up.

I run at 1900 by 1200.

I fly to Orlando on Friday for vet conference(for 11 nights I think including some extra vacation time). During that time I will see show the rig does (including how many heads turn in first class when I break it out, the guys and gals there are usually stuffy types with IBM or Sony laptops).

thats cool, so it could power a dell 2405 at 1920x1200 right? thanks will be looking forward to this review

It'll run its own screen at 1920x1200. It won't run an external monitor at that resolution mainly on account of Clevo being total ****s.

I did not try that yet. I will hook up one of my 23" widescreens to see what it does.

hmmm, why would they have a 7800gtx go, but then not allow it to run at 1920x1200 on an external monitor?? that is just strange. so will it work DB? sorry for the questions, but in just trying to get soem info about this.

i dont think it will
if it cant, hoping DB will say it works. are there any laptops with x2 cpu and a 7800gtx that will?

BLow is wrong. It works. I hooked it up to my Sony 23" display and set it to 1900 x 1200.

DB is the king!!!
Hey DB in your first post you said you got 4697 in 3DMark05, is this correct. Sure seems like that is way low for this setup. I see the Dell XPS Gen 2 getting 6600-7200. With the dual core alone it should be able to keep up, but should beat the Dell. Just checking because I have almost the same rig ordered from Alienware, and that score to me is just scary. That is a great looking laptop you have yourself there.

Hyper tech support if overnighting me a new videocard. The scores are clearly way belong where they should be.

Hey Darthbeavis, you're running 1920x1200 externally via DVI correct?
