In terms of gaming power: Sager, Alienware, Dell (XPS2)
In terms of style: Asus, Apple, Sony
In terms of overall value: Asus, Sager, Dell (if you use one of their big coupons)
It really depends on what you're looking for and what you want the brand to be best in.

I was guessing that norbx has most likely never heard of Clevo, and was trying to simplify it for clarity. And he said brands, which is usually asssociated with brands you can buy directly (and I know you can actually buy Clevo branded systems also, but their systems sold by Sager and Alienware are more readily accessible in the US)
