Undervolting in Linux (Ubuntu)?

does anyone undervolt their P-Ms? i just installed ubuntu 5.10 on my thinkpad and looked over the internet on how to undervolt as i was used to NHC to do it in windows, but can anyone that does it, or has done it, write up a guide? that would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks.

Uh if you dont know how to compile your own kernel, you should NOT be trying this.

First learn how to compile your own kernel, then move on to tackle undervolting. It is not as easy in Linux as it is in windows as you have more direct access.

And yes you can probably royally screw things up on your computer if you dont know what you are doing undervolting.
