Dvi on 3438G

Hi!

I have a 3438G with 6800Go dvi.
I have tryed to use the dvi out on my plasma-tv (it has a dvi in) but i didn´t get any picture.
Have heard from FS that the Dvi on the 3438G don´t send digital signal...only analog thru the dvi.
Can say also that my tv has Dvi-D.
Can anyone confirm that FS said is true?

Which Video BIOS version and which nVidia driver version do you use?

no that is not true. dvi is isnt analog signal.
First of all you need to change the settings for the graphiccardso that you have 2 screens. The plasma and 3438g, the u set it to be clone. After that you set the screen resolution to the plasmas native and your done.

I have flashed the videobios and used 81.98.
I have tryed clone and have right res.
When i use d-sub on the plasma i get picture but then i have to use a adapter in 3438.
My plasma has a Dvi-D and it can only take digital signal on the dvi.
Thats why i asked if it´s realy digital signal from the 3438.
Maybe someone haved tryed use the Dvi?

it is the second time I have heard about problems like that. The first time the solution was to downgrade VBIOS to 39.49 http://home.eplus-online.de/gaetcke/...nflash3949.zip and use driver 78.10 or 78.11

EDIT:
FSC said it is up to nVidia to fix this problem. So maybe you have luck with the latest drivers (e.g. 82.12).
