Asus to make a Lamborghini laptop - Page 2

This is only the 1st of 3 Lambos to be released this year. The next 2 will have unique designs with even more input from Lamborghini. (There is a thread on Notebook Review with a little more info than there is here...)

You're right in a couple points... if it is in fact a 15" they would be shooting themselves in the foot. However, I seriously doubt they would do that. Intel is pretty serious about competing with AMD, and they would have to be smoking crack to use a none-widescreen aspect ratio. Can't wait till the specs come out on these bad boys

EDIT: The first lambo model is going to be the V6V, plus the lambo icon and a new lid. 15" non widescreen... but as Justin (PROPortable) said, this is going to be the first of 3 with the main drive to get people talking. The next two are going to have newly designed chassis that aren't shared with any other modle. THOSE are the ones that will get all the talk, not the one that you see pictures of.

yup i agree man, but I got no basis to argue Ferrari 15.4" vs the order 2 ASUS Lambo cos there is no news about em,

so at this time we can only compare the V6j (Lambo) =\

w/e we all can wait... this is month #6 of waiting for a nice laptop for me hehe yah man

Thanks,

Just go to the dealerships and buy the stickers or badges for $8.95 and slap them on your own laptop instead of paying an extra $200 at the factory for them to do it.

true. they make you pay alot for the lamborghini emblem on your asus while it doesn't necessarily make the notebook that much better.

besides that though, that pedal in the bottom left corner, if that's what it is.. that would make the rawest looking touchpad ever. or touchpad buttons.. imagine left click and right click = accelerating and breaking

I went to CES.

I don't know why people are drooling about it, bc the Asus rep told me personally that it was mostly for marketing and not for sales. I guess no one listened before, but I'm repeating myself a second time so this should better work.

It has a 7400 128MB graphics card btw.

Justin said they're going to release some more unique Lambo models.

Oooh. That will bring in some more competition for Acer
