Man 2nd post today!!!

I have this (Creative DTT2500 5.1 Speaker system) Amplifier/Decoder Box:

Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA has these connections:

How do I get it to work with this to allow me to get 5.1 Surround Sound?!?!?

I am baffled: So far I can only get line out to work, but only 2 speakers at a time. Rear out does nothing!

Please help me, as I want to make sure I am not an idiot before I am forced to buy a Logitech Z 5500 speakers!!!

I believe you should have a "Digital DIN" harness that has the connections you need. Did you buy the speakers new?

I do, which works fine with my Audigy (Desktop) sound card. But how to I connect it to Audigy 2 ZS????

the cable-plug that comes out of the pcmcia zs card are front/rear/center surround sound channels. If you connect your speakers to those, make sure your laptop is set to 5.1 sound [using creative software], otherwise the card will only output sound to the fronts by default.

All you should need is the digital din cable that should come standard with your speakers. If that doesnt work, then the pcmcia card could have faulty rear/center outputs.

Best of luck with your sound issue!

BTW the card is Brand new

I have this cable (Digital DIN):

I can get one end to the speaker amplifier/decoder box, but there is no acceptable plug on Audigy 2 ZS except those 3 female 1/8" stereo inputs.

Is there a cable that is Digital DIN on one side and splits into 3 1/8" male stereo plugs thus allowing 6 channel connectivity???

Man this is just retarded!!!

Here is the answer to my problem from Creative:

Using analog output, you need either new speakers OR the DTS-610, or mod the DTT2500's (search for post mod), just the same as some of us X-Fi owners.

Oh well I went ahead and got some Logitech Z 5500 speakers, gonna hook em up tonight. Hope the sound as good as everyone says.
