Nothing stays new forever! But I was hoping it would arrive working well. I rec'd my Ferrari 4005 two weeks ago. Rec'd my 2 1GB upgrade RAM chips a couple days ago. When I went & checked the existing memory size, I only had about 512K. So it wasn't recognizing the 2nd 512K memory chip that the Ferrari came with. After talking with Acer Tech. Support & switching chips around between the 2 slots, they determined that slot #2- the outer slot- wasn't recognizing memory chips installed in that slot. So my Ferrari is on its way to Acer for a pit stop.
Anyone else ever have a problem like this?
