Just converted to 7800 and have issue with locating IDE drivers??

I just installed the 7800gtx and its working ok but my issue is the computer was reloading all the drivers and it cannot find the ide drivers?

If it cannot find IDE drivers, is it even booting? Do you have chipset drivers installed?

yes its booting fine into windows but windows is having a problem finding the drivers to the IDE1 and IDE2 channel.

If this is Windows XP SP2 the drivers are built in you should not have to install any. Since it is asking you can get the 9300 chipset drivers here;

It keeps saying Cannot install this hardware - driver is not intended for this platform. i downloaded those chipset drivers and no luck.

the controller that is installed is intel 82801fbm ultra ata storage controller
