Anyone got an extra one they want to sell? I know a few ordered it and did not need it for the ultra/7800 upgrade and I just opened mine and guess what i've got the old one. Let me know. Also I know this is not the for sale section and I apologize I just figured this would get noticed here.

thanks a lot.

You actually have the old one, wow, do you have a pic, because to my knowledge, there wasnt any hard proof that there actually was an older version of the heatsink, just specualtion and rumers, hmm interesting

Yeah I was talking to someone here the other day who wanted the 7800GTX and included a pic of their stock internals. It was weird as the NB heatsink had this long curved arm on it that went up and above the CPU fan for added cooling. I was surprised to see it and told him he'd have to order the newer NB heatsink that most of us have.

I am actually ordering the card through a friend (who is in USA) and have given him the details. I am located in Australia and dell au doesn't seem to stock these cards as they dont sell the M170 here . I am getting my friend to buy it and bring it over here as he is traveling here in a few weeks so I should have everything up and running by first week of feb.

No I don't have a pic at the moment but i'll try to remember to take one when I put the new card in. So I guess me and fusion are the only 2 lol.

I had the old heatsink too. I just cut it up with a hacksaw blade and small file to match the newer heatsink shown in the 7800 upgrade post. I know you're thinking hack job, but it actually turned out pretty slick looking. I don't wanna tear apart my laptop though, to take pics, I'm too lazy!
