I finally got my sound working in Suse 10.0. However, I have one problem. In order to get it to work, I have to log in as root.
If I log in normally as user, no good. Log out and log in as root, works great. Log back out and back in as user. Works great. Obviously something getting loaded in root login but I am a complete novice and have no idea where to start looking.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions about this. I figure I am way ahead just having working sound to begin with.
