i purchased a coolmax enclosure from newegg. i had 2 WD caviar drives in my old desktop, one with the OS on it the other a data drive. i pulled out both drives and stuck them in this enclosure using the usb2 connector. i get nothing. i figured both were formatted so i would get something. am i missing something? i know this isn't really a "notebook" issue, but i thought a lot of you notebookers use these enclosures and i missing something easy. it is set to master, and i looked like 27 times to make sure everything is connected correctly.
the only other thing i am thinking is try the firewire hookup. i have to find a 4 to 6 pin connector though.
