Did'nt see much info about it here. How does it do with sager? I heard it's possible to save a little money by running microsoft office with it. Was thinking of toying with it. Thanks for any info.

Back when it was in development, most people thought it was great. As the time closed the release date, things changed, however. In my opinion, the project changed completely, making up excuses for things they werent able to achieve. As of right now, personally, I wouldnt touch it with a ten-foot pole. I would rather go with any normal Linux distro and use OpenOffice, which, aside from a few MS-only things, does a great job of reading/writing MS-compatible files. As a last resort, you could also use MS Office through WINE or other emulation utilities.

I was checking out lindows site http://www.lindows.com and it does look uncertain with microsoft trying to sue them out of business. I'd like to see the linux underdog dethrone the redmond beast. I also thought the ceo articles slaming microsoft for their bad tactics was comical. One day we'll see microsoft get put in it's place, what a day that will be!

Yeah, its kind of lame. They are using all the standard things like KDE, etc. Being able to play pretty much any kind of video is also not new. Overall, I can do everything they are pitching with my own Gentoo installation right now.
