well i understand the w2/w3/v6, but what about the blander looking/less slender/less compact units
i personally think the v6j looks like a sexy beast, same with w3v/w5f/w2v, they just don't boast the power like the bigger ones (if the v6j had a x1600 i'd pay 3k for it (aka lambo vx1), also never understood why the v6j (replacement/upgraded model) sports the 7400 GO which is less powerful than the older V6Va's x700). Asus stunted the V6J from reaching its full potential, if it had a x1600 in it, it would be flying, i think it would be the most popular model of all of them. But they probably wanted to save that for the lambo so pple will buy it for the premium price.
i think the v6ja and a7j are in need of a serious makeover. they're nice...but not high end nice. especially if they're sporting the x1600 and t2500 intel duo.
i say keep the thin n light notebooks the same, their designs are gold, just a little more for the more powerful/bulky models.

When the Z71v first came out, a lot of people on the forums complained that it was ugly. But all the professional reviews I've seen comment on how nice it looks! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.
