Also, this same article has made its way around the internet and been debunked more than once. While Vista does offload to the GPU a lot of the rendering duties (and given what a GPU is for the decision is sensible), the Video RAM requirements are being wildly overstated in the article.

As to the rest, of course Vista will be at its best with SATA and 64bit CPUs, it has been written to support the latest hardware.

I think all of this is B.S.!!! I bet Google's new OS will nock the socks off Microsoft!! lol jp

I do think this is B.S.!! I have so much to say that I cant stand about it!! The only thing that makes me want to get it is the new Flight simulator "Flight Simulator X" I will end up paying what I paid for my whole d*m computer after buying a 64bit processor and a $$$ OS!! And all that extra ram you will need for the games! what the he!! they are changing everything you need this you need that its so dumb!! Someone needs to tell Gates "Where not all rich like you!!" All that ram to run a freaking OS that's sad!! And you guna spend all this money for sh!t... I can only imagine how great the game will not run on it! I will definitely be sticking with XP for a while I think its good. Microsoft should of just stuck with the 64bit windows and forgot about this performance hogging OS!! I don't give a sh!t about half the stuff it has anyway... In my honest opinion is that it will suck! I just got a new computer and I don't feel like putting a few grand in it just to run a OS that will suck!
