Internal Vs External?

Hi folks,

I am a newbie to the notebook world, and with the little research ive done, ive found you guys to be by far the best source for info. Keep it up!!

I have my first big question to ask...

I bought the ASUS Z63A barebone and built it up with a Pentium M 1.73, 1G Ram, 60 Gb Fujitsu HDD. Now to complete my project I need to choose between using the internal pci slot for wireless signal, or if I" should use an external slot card. Ive done some searches and its not yet clear as to what the best setup would be for me. Which will provide me with the best signal quality and range?? Also any product suggestions??

Thanks in advance

I'd recommend getting an internal wireless card. It's built in... so it's so much of a "dongle", and the range difference isn't much (if at all).
Not only that, but you get to use the wireless LAN button on the right side of the notebook ... (this may or may not be a big deal to you)
