I have a desktop which I attempted a dual boot(which worked)on a removable harddrive.I don't want a dual boot anymore so how do I get rid of the dual boot screen?I have formated the rem. harddrive and now I want to boot from c: only. I'm going to attempt it by editing the system startup .Thanks, john

If the OS you want to keep is windows nt/2k/xp try this:
Quote:
If you have Windows NT / 2000 / XP, you can boot from startup floppy disks or CD-ROM, choose repair option during setup, and run Recovery Console. When you are logged on, you can run FIXMBR command to fix MBR.
