Laptop HD 2.5" (is this primary or secondary HD?) If None is empty module included? Is a HD included for the price?

Could a 3.5" SATA drive be used in a SATA external enclosure and used as primary boot drive? (cheaper, faster) if the laptop has SATA connector..

Comments please on both. What is different on the two base kits?

The z71v and the z71vp is one and the same. Z71vp is the model number as shown on the serial tag. Nothing different about em.
