AS5 CPU and GPU idle temps????

Thread Starter
i have a 9300 with a 256mb 6800, and a 1.86 pent m. I just got sent a new mobo from dell because of a sound port short so i put some antec formula five (AS5 substitute?) on the cpu and gpu. im wondering what my max temps ahould be. I used rthdrbl with system running at 1864mhz (100% cpu load) Gpu running at 360core 725 memory. my temps are 60C processor and 59C GPU. Is this good? what are your idle temps?

one other thing.....when i first ran my comp after putting the formula five and installing drivers etc. my computer was getting way high temps on the gpu...like 67C etc. but now my comp is getting the temps above. Im thinking maybe the heat compound had a bubble in it or something and it needed to settle?

by the way......i love my 9300 and for a laptop it kicks anything best buy sells....as far as graphics are concerned. but im way jealous of the new 9300 with the 7800. technology is addictive!

I have the stock 770 (2.13GHz) in my iXPSG2, I undervolted it to 1.1v, and it runs stable and is at 27 degrees celsius while using Firefox right now. ) Best thing I ever did!

My GPU, the 7800GTX I just installed yesterday, AS5'ed, overclocked, is at 45 degrees celsius as I type this. Seems a little high to me?

The lowest I ever got my 2.0ghz is 24C and that is without AS5. The ambient temp was around 63C or so. I do use i9kfangui but everything is on stock settings.

You mean 63F. 63C is very VERY hot.
