Aside from that, I think it will cost more towards the $300 range because 104 O-LED keys are going to cost alot....
Looks nice, but for $300 it better levitate in the air and only come out when I need it.

I have nothing to prove. I've asked you to leave twice. I don't know why you're not.

It would be pretty awesome though... someone comes over and sees that thing on your desk and it has the little images on it.... they are going to want one!

Rock on.. just noticed you have Medusa's... does yours have a problem with the bass? When I unplug my center/sub channel a little bit, I get the full bass. what is up with this??

As comical as this thread is, it's becoming a slugfest...

The 9300/XPS (aka "desktop replacement") is a notebook that could benefit from external keyboard setups.

Forget all that, get back to fighting it's too funny to impeded-Sorry I just saw Million Dollar Baby last night-bummed me out.

I haven't really noticed. Mine is plugged in exactly as Medusa intended no switching of channels or slightly unplugging. While I'm sure of the positioning - maybe because I used the audigy set-up utility to postion the speakers - I'm not so sure about the bass. Do you know of a program or audio file I can use to test it with? I might be missing out on something without even knowing You or I can start a thread later on in this forum about it and get somethings figured out/solved. (Shutup Cold, it's being used for my XPS exclusively)

on topic:

yeah, the keyboard is sweet, im surprised it hadnt been thought up untill now, it just seems so practical.

Cost and technology I'm guessing were two barriers previously - it's an interesting concept, very flashy but I'll be impressed if they can release this at a reasonable price.

Can't wait to use it with my XPS 2, it will go well with the LEDs

The design was back a bit it just took this long to get it into production, so it seems about right. A year ago this probably wasn't economical with the status of technology, so yeah, it kinda fits. Glad it came up to a public release though.

| XPS Gen2 | Windows XP Professional | 2.13 GHz Pentium-M | 2GB DDR2 533 MHz | Geforce Go 7800 GTX 7167 3dmark05! | Hitachi 100 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive | Samsung WUXGA 17" 1920 x 1200 LCD | NEC 6650 DVD±RW | 2915 Intel PRO Wireless + 350 Bluetooth | Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook | Speed-link Medusa 5.1 Headset |

Penguin you have damn near the same specs I have, with the exception of my 80 GB 7200 rpm drive to your 100 GB 7200 rpm drive. This should be some pretty accurate testing, exactly what you wanted.

Hmm.. I have that utility too I believe.. I would just try like Audioslave - Show me how to live or Counting Crows - Mr. Jones (my personal favorite for the big booms at the beginning). While loud, the bass should tickle your ears and you should feel it... it should basically rattle your head almost....Try unplugging like 1/8" and see if there is a difference. I already had my headphones replaced once because of it, and the guy supposedly tested them out and said they worked, so maybe it is sound card related? I dunno. Everything was replaced too.. new wires and all.
