|That's because the whole game would had have been rewritten in order for it to run on a PowerPC machine, but now that Macs run on Intel hardware only a minor
Large parts of most games would still have to be rewritten because a lot of games still depend on Windows Direct X as a library and rewriting for OpenGL and Core Audio is not a simple walk in the park.
What MAY happen though is more effort gets put into Wine as that would be easily ported to Mac from Linux. Porting from Mac to Linux and back is much simpler than porting from windows to mac, even on the same platform.
Uh you may strongly want to edit your post though and fix the newlines as it is very difficult to read.
|If Windows can be installed on MacBooks, Apple can be sued for making the buyers take OSX over Windows (and even if that's for their own good it's not right... Microsoft got sued for the same reason some time back).
MS Succesfully has gotten sued over many things, but forcing people to use MS on new computers is not one of them. However there is a different situation here, and you are right, there is potential for Anti-Trust in as far as Apple only selling Apple OS with their stuff, however if you think about it, in order to be a monopoly, you have to have a majority of the market, which apple is not even close to yet. Course if they market their systems right, you are paying for the system and as a result we give you the OS for free, they might even get around the anti-trust there.
MS will be able to run on Mac Hardware, that one has been pretty well confirmed. OSX will not run(Without modification) on regular PC hardware, that one has been confirmed, and was quite some time ago actually.
|PPC Linux but they don't have a real lawer
I really have no clue what you are trying to say here, mind restating it?
|apple can get sued for selling them only apple that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard! Dell only sells intel they cant get sued for not selling AMD. Its a free country we do what we want.
Err there is several things wrong with that statement in the US. One ther eis a difference in that Dell CANT get sued, but Intel can(And actually has been charged with anti-trust) because they give huge pricebreaks for selling only intel equipment. The definition of a monopoly though involves a single company, most manufacturers of laptops, dont sell an OS so it is a different ballgame than Apple.
Also while America may be a free country we do have anti-monopolistic laws in effect since the the depression to keep monopolies from forming and lowering the quality of life of the country. Now there are tons of debates on wether or not this is a good move, but that is neither here nor there, but the fact remains that the US is not a true capatalist society because of this, and because of this your statement is false.
