Computer Crashes/Turns off unexpectedly

Hi I've been having a problem with my Sager 8790 notebook lately. When running anything graphics intensive, applications or games, My notebook will pause usually in load screens, the numlock and capslock leds will blink twice and it will just shut off completely. Ive looked though the manual and cannot find what this means. If anyone can tell me the nature of this problem or possible remedies I would appreciate it.

Sounds like it's overheating to me. Have you cleaned it out anytime lately?

yes its all cleaned out on the inside, ive narrowed it down and it has to do soley with the fans, now whether its rpm or temperature thats making the computer shut down im not sure. Its happening now whenever i fn + f10 to turn on the high fans they will get stuck on and leds will blink simultaneously several times and it will shut down in the next couple seconds.

My unit has the same problem. Enabling the Turbo Fans mode results in almost instantaneous shutdown. It's RMA time. You might want to contact Sager and see if they've got a fix (BIOS update, maybe?), but they weren't able to fix my problem with it.
