ASUS Z71V OR ASUS Duo CORE

I was about to buy the Asus z71v when I heard that the new Asus Duo Core models are coming out in March. Should I wait and spend my money on the new models or is the performance difference marginal? When the new models are released will the price of the z71v drop? How much? What do you think?

If you can wait, it's always a good idea to wait as long as possible. Then when you actually need a notebook, buy one and don't look back (or forward). There's always something better around the bend.

That would depend what you are planning to use the notebook for. The single core stills beat out the dual core in terms of core speed, such as gaming. The dual core clocks a bit lower than normal processor, but the advantage is the true multitasking capability.
