HELP! Pent m or amd athlon 64 fx

The reason i ask is because Im stuck between dell xps m170 or aw aurora 7700 the only thing keeping me from buying dell is the pent m.....just seems athlon amd 64 fx is better for games.plz your thoughts

The AMD64 will run games better however the Pentium M is more efficient. You'll get better battery life (if it matters to you) and run cooler.

For games, the Pentium M is neck-to-neck with the AMD64FX. However, the AMD leaves the Pentium M in the dust when doing simple multi-tasking or encoding/compiling operations. Plus, the AMD is 64bit. But for a laptop, Pentium M will definitely provide you with much better battery life.

P-M if your looking for mobility but still want power
AMD if you just want power and don't give a crap about mobility
