Hi all, I just recently purchased a used Area-51m (old model) with a P4 2.6Ghz, 512mb DDR Ram and a 128mb Mobility Radeon 9000. I've been getting dissapointing benchmarsk (7080 in 2001 and 960 in 2003) so I installed Powerstrip to see if I can get any improvements. After installing powerstrip I notice that it says my 9000's default memory clock speed is 190Mhz. I remembered reading an article on the 9000 at Tom's Hardware and didn't think that sounded right so I looked it up and found this: http://www.tomshardware.com/mobile/20020829/index.html . According to the article my core clock (which I'm guessing is equivilant to the engine clock in Powerstrip) is 250Mhz and it is. However according to the article my memory clock speed should be between 400 and 400Mhz and again, according to Powerstrip, it's only 190Mhz. Am I confusing two different things here or is something wrong?
